We left Despotiko at 9.45 a.m. The wind was strong; after passing Antiparos we continued south and anchored in Alyki Bay, with gusts reaching 25–30 knots.
We went ashore by dinghy, drank ouzo at Appoplous Taverna and relaxed on the small, clean beach. When the wind eased late in the afternoon, we returned to the boat. Hacı and Ayla joined us at 8.40 p.m., and we ended the day with dinner and a long conversation.
