We had now completed a full week aboard. In the morning we set out for Parikia. The wind was stronger than expected; Antiparos proved too exposed, and after a rough crossing we reached Parikia. We first tried anchoring, then found a place in the harbour.
After some time on the beach, we played volleyball with a group of young people. We were ahead when Ayla injured her knee and frightened us all, although fortunately it was nothing more serious. We ate dinner aboard as a magnificent full moon rose. Kokoreç was the favourite dish, and the conversation continued late into the night.
