Today we went from Medellín to Guatapé. The town's houses, with their relief-filled zócalos and bright colors, told a different story at every corner.
The scenery around El Peñón was completely different. The green hills torn apart by the water looked like a big map from above. This wide and calm landscape with the lively streets of the town became two different faces of the same day.
In Guatapé, color was not just ornament but a form of identity. On the walls of the houses were professions, animals, family stories and small signs of daily life. We returned to Medellín in the evening and ended the day in Hato Viejo.
