Beetfish waited for new guests. For the first time, the boat would host two children under ten. We moved in front of Bodrum Castle for supplies, then went to Yalıkavak for breakfast with Hamit and Burcu.
In the afternoon Lütfü, Merve, Maya and Lara joined us. The children’s energy brightened the boat. The weather was cloudy and unsettled. While playing with them, I attempted a cannonball jump and struck my right eye on a rope.
We spent the evening at Orak Island. The water was once again beautifully clear. Finding room in what is, to us, one of Gökova’s loveliest seas felt very fortunate.
