We left Symi at 8.00 am and set our course for Bodrum Harbour. The sea rocked us gently from time to time, but the crossing remained comfortable throughout. Before long, the familiar outline of Datça had already appeared ahead of us, marking our progress towards home.
As we sailed away, one thought was clear: Symi is certainly a place worth returning to.
